Judaism - one man's description

I was listening to a lecture on Jewish TV tonight by an excellent rabbi who pointed out that Jews have not taken enough trouble to acquaint the world with the Jewish religion. The result, is that in Christian America and Europe, the Jews are seen through the lens of Christianity, and Judaism is seen as an unfulfilled predecessor to Christianity. However, the above is not at all the case. It is quite a different religion. One that is very simple and profound. To introduce someone to Judaism I would put them through a brief exercise: Go into a quiet room, sit in a comfortable chair, turn out the lights, and close your eyes.
