Jews should go home to Israel

Elections are coming very soon in the USA, and possibly also in Israel. There is a great clamber in the media as to how potential future leaders will guide our world. We fail to accept the fact that, in spite of our brilliance and scientific advancement, we do not control this world. The G-d of Creation has plans which supercede that of Man. If we look carefully we can see that our world is getting away from us. The United States of America has always been a bastion of stability for the world. As Wall Street teeters and the government seeks to prop it up with huge injections of funds, which will strain that country’s financial resources, we can only wonder how long the “band-aid” will hold. If the bottom does fall out, not only will Israel suffer from a drastic reduction in aid from the USA, but Jews will discover a backlash of anti Semitism unparalleled in American history. History has consistently shown us that in times of famine, depression and plague, when there is no specific entity to blame, Jews become the scapegoat... the entity responsible for all the world’s ills.

Today it is extremely dangerous for Jews to live in France. All over Europe the disease is spreading. George Bush refuses to acknowledge the aim of Islam for world domination as he enlists Saudi Arabia, one of the major backers of terror, as a partner in his war against terror. Arab petro-dollars have heavy investments in the USA which will yield tremendous influence when the American economy falls apart. Those who think that the United States of America is immune from rabid anti Semitism are denying reality.

Most American Jews have been enjoying the good life in the United States for generations. Even religious Jews have come to think of America as their home. But the reality is that the Jewish people have a destiny.

The G-d of Creation has assigned a very specific role for the Jewish People which they are destined to fulfill. It is not a matter of choice, but of obligation. Just as the prophet Jonah tried to deny his destiny, only to be forced to fulfill it even against his own will, so too will the Jewish nation all over the world perform the Will of G-d.

The State of Israel is not an ordinary country. It is the beginning of fulfillment of Biblical Destiny. It has witnessed the beginning of the ingathering of the Jewish Exiles from all over the world. This ingathering will continue until all Jews come home. The only questions are: “How long will it take?”; and “Will Jews come willingly or otherwise?”

Many good Jews have already returned home as an expression of love and faith in G-d. The opportunity to do this still exists, but time is rapidly running out. We can clearly see the storm clouds of global anti Semitism growing. If Jews refuse to leave the Exile willingly, the Exile will vomit them out or swallow them up. Redemption is advancing. It is up to us to determine whether or not it will be accompanied by glory or pain.

No matter who gets elected President of the USA or Prime Minister of Israel, the storm clouds remain. It is only we, the Jewish People, who have the ability to blow them away and usher in a world of true peace.

It is we who have been given the role of showing the world that it has a Creator. When we come home to demonstrate our faith in G-d, and conduct our lives according to His Commandments, no power on Earth can destroy us. And when they all try and fail, the entire world will know that only by Divine intervention could the Jewish State stand up to the overwhelming enemies seeking her destruction. And when Iran gets destroyed by her own Nuclear weapons while Israel thrives and grows, the rest of the nations of the world will praise and bring tribute to the Jewish State.

Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike, to open our eyes to the G-dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.
